The 'Horse has been plugging away at album 2 for a while now off the back of the UK release of album 1. With over 40 songs stacked up for the second release, it'll take some time to refine to the finished article.
Still, 3 tracks - ska-tinged pop firework "You Sold My Heart", big stomp anthem "Kids Get Out" & bluesy dancer "Callin Life" (titles TBC) - are pretty much locked, with a few more pencilled in. More news on these tracks (and possible posting) soon!
Meanwhile, Warner has shown interest in Comin Down Blues for their TV/Film arm. Watch this space.
The 'Horse.
The album has hit HMV, Zavvi and other major UK stores, as well as your favourite local indie, selling well in hometown Cardiff and getting plugs on BBC and Capital radio already.
I'm stoked to finally see the album physically out there - close to the people where they can grab it, direct on the high street!

Hey all,
Well, it's finally happening. The album is hitting UK stores - cool indies like Spillers in Cardiff, and more major ones - on Monday, November 3rd. It's exciting stuff. The record is also available on Amazon, play.com & HMV's website. It's quite strange being signed (non-exclusive) to an Aussie indie label and finally getting the record in shops in the UK, of all places. A potential Aussie release is on the horizon after the UK one, but pretty stoked about this now. Genepool/Universal are taking care of the distribution. The full press release is below.

CRACK HORSE

he self-titled debut album by Crack Horse is released in the UK on Monday
3 November 2008 on Australian indie label Dead Famous (distributed in the UK by Gene Pool).
According to Nirvana/Soundgarden producer Jack Endino, Crack Horse is a “great band name”. Given how addictive the music is, the ‘crack’ is also highly appropriate.
A heady cocktail of pop-rock and occasional disco to light up your nights, Crack Horse combines high-energy, dancefloor-filling beats, punchy riffs and brassy brass with wonderful melodies to create instantly accessible tunes that aren’t just catchy – they’re infectious.

Hey Horserines,
Long time no speak! The 'Horse has been very busy indeed preparing the Crack Horse record's release in the US, Canada and Australia. Partly funded by Crack Horse and partly by indie label Dead Famous Records, Crack Horse will hit the shelves in the US & Canada tomorrow, May 13th 2008. In Australia, the album should be available from JB Hifi and other main stockists from June 14 2008.
The 'Horse is still seeking strong backing to increase publicity and get some solid airplay for the record, but I'm doing everything I can to get it out there to the people. The record is hitting iTunes and Amazon very soon.
